Introduction

Every business exists to extract profit from the markets that it is operating in. One of the most important things to do for a business is to stay productive otherwise the business will face trouble in materializing its overall goals. The following paper is about the high turnover rate in BAE systems, Global Defence company of Saudi Arabia, which is known for its defence related equipments and trainings. The turnover rate in 2010 rose to a problematic level of 37%, which made the management think about the Human Resource policies because it was of the belief that the Human Resources department had a lot to do with the unrest. The following research proposal will discuss the research methods that were assumed in order to understand the problem, the pros and cons of these research methods, the data sources that were used to extract information about the HR problem and an evaluation of the research questions.

The aim of the research is to find out the reasons behind the increase in the turnover rate. The BAE Systems has been suffering from the turnover but the management lacks proper information about the issue. The aim of the research is to identify the issue through primary research and then find out the reasons behind the issue and ways to tackle it by having an overview of the literature that is present online and in books. The feedback of the employees that are leaving the company will be important to be incorporated here, which is why some of the employees are interviewed to get accurate facts.
