The documentary portrayed the personality of Aileen Wuornos who was a frightening and fascinating person. Broomfield's film attempts to relate and humanize the detail of Aileen Wuornos life, giving it a respectable look. It will frustrate those who do not show sympathy for the devils. The footage does not show or gave much importance to the victims of Aileen Wuornos, while Aileen Wuornos beast takes a backseat to her victim role (Hickey, 2010).
