Effective Leadership
Introduction
A caravan can never reach its final destination, unless it knows the right route or course which will take them there without getting lost or strayed in mid way. More importantly, a caravan will not roam around aimlessly if the leader of the caravan is well aware of their destination and the appropriate course, and has the capability of taking everyone together and motivate them, to not to jade, and make it till the end. An organization works the same way. The employees act as the caravan members who have to take the organization to its ultimate destination in terms of objectives and goals. Not only does he need to guide them the right path, it is his primary duty to motivate them in a way that will encourage them to triumph and never give up (Jago, 1982).

Being an effective leader does not denote that a person is assertive and makes his way forcefully in order to ensure effectiveness, of his orders and actions. In fact, an effective leader is a figure which leads by an example. Somehow, people tend to ignore the minor but a great difference between leader and effective leader. A leader might only ask his followers/ employees to follow his instructions, whereas an effective leader revolutionizes his employees, not only to be splendid in their work but also ensures that they are the future leaders in making (Manske, 1999).
Importance/Need of an Effective Leader in an Organization It is a matter of immense significance for an organization to have an effective leader in it, mainly because he/she is a visionary. He is full of ambition, imagination and foresightedness, he imagines the future of an organization in a way that many are unable to picture or visualize. That is why he has this ability ...
