Technology has no doubt impacted human's life in many ways throughout history. The field of education also affected by rapid innovations in technology. It has changed the way people teach and learn. Especially the schools and colleges all over the globe impacted by the new ways of sharing knowledge with students. Another reason why technology has affected education in all of the countries of the world including Saudi Arabia is globalization. The phenomenon of globalization, also known as globalization occurs primarily economically, but also culturally and socially, as a result of a new planetary culture, driven by the breakdown of geographic and economic barriers posed by the use of Technology, Information and Communication, and the socioeconomic policies promoted by different governments and international organizations to adapt these new technologies. This new phase presents a series of questions in relation to its consequences in the medium and long term, and in many cases, one of the arguments used to question the "goodness" of its use in the risk of disappearance of minority cultures and less socioeconomic powers.
In this situation, the question is what has been the effect of "New Technologies" in education. A clear glance shows that the impact has been less than in the field of education as compared to other areas and that, in this case, education has not fulfilled its traditional role as the lever. However, further research in Saudi Arabia has shown that there is a long delay due to the implications of changes in education, involving not only investing in equipment and training, but in a change of attitude or mentality, and this process takes time.
