ABSTRACT
In this study, an attempt has been made to conduct an Economic and Managerial analysis of Lebanese economy. The major reasons because of which this research was carried out, was to determine the economic condition of Lebanon, trade statistics, the inflation rate and GDP growth, unemployment rate, the impact of political factors on their economy and the future outlook of the economy. All these factors were very important for assessing the overall position of Lebanon and their significance in the region. The vital information regarding Lebanese Economy was gathered from various sources to assist in finding out the reasons for their current position. It was concluded that there were various factors that led to the current position that Lebanese economy is going through and future strategies were even proposed in this research that will help them to recover from the present problems. Therefore, a detailed analysis was carried out that explored important aspects regarding Lebanese economy and solutions for resolving their problems was even discussed in detail.

Lebanon has a free-market economy and a strong laissez-faire commercial tradition. The government does not restrict foreign investment; however, the investment climate suffers from red tape, corruption, arbitrary licensing decisions, high taxes, tariffs, and fees, archaic legislation, and weak intellectual property rights. The Lebanese economy is service-oriented; main growth sectors include banking and tourism. The 1975-90 civil war seriously damaged Lebanon's economic infrastructure, cut national output by half, and all but ended Lebanon's position as a Middle Eastern entrepot and banking hub.
