Introduction

The term ecology studies the scientific relationship between organisms living in relation to the respect of their natural environment. The components of ecological function include the process and adaptation of life, distribution and profusion of organisms, and the association of materials and energy through living communities. The functional ecological components lead to the formation and development of the overall ecosystem. In addition to the functional components, it is important to understand how the ecosystem is formed in a certain community environment. Ecosystems are formed through by components in the society, which are both living and non-living. These components include various environmental habitats, which are physical and chemical. Moreover, the ecosystem in a community incorporates all organisms in a surrounding. However, it is important to have a balance of ecology in the community for a proper energy flow, which defines material cycles, biotic diversity and structures in the community (Holling, 2004, pp .390).
