Abstract
In this study we try to explore the concept of “Drug Addiction Rehabilitation” in a holistic context. The main focus of the research is on “Drug Addiction Rehabilitation” and its relation with “individual psychological development”. The research also analyzes many aspects of “Drug Addiction Rehabilitation” and tries to gauge its effect on “cognitive patterns and behavioral changes”. Finally the research describes various factors which are responsible for “Drug Addiction Rehabilitation” and tries to describe the overall effect of “Drug Addiction Rehabilitation” on “recovery of patients”.

In today's modern world of rapid development and expansion, the key to earning a living has become equivalent to surviving in the jungle. People, organizations, countries and entire continents struggle and survive for earning themselves, if not maximum, substantial amount of resources, in order to cater themselves and the masses residing within their domiciles or vicinities. In such catastrophic times, it seems that people are almost desperate to gain the maximum number of resources, aid and assistance that maybe provided from the affluent and elite existing in the society (BCSSE 2004).
Defining an Intervention
One prompt activity that has been practiced on an iterated basis is called an 'intervention'. An intervention is defined as 'an acting of intersecting and intervening deliberately in a situation, circumstance, event or dispute, which may lead to undesirable outcomes adverse results' (McCabe, Boyd & Teter, 2009).
When an addict is experiencing or going through a serious addiction (cocaine, heroin, hashish and hash derivatives, etc.), these people are generally acquainted with a slow reception and response with reference in comparison to the person who hasn't been on drugs. In addition to this, their judgment and cognitive reception is often impaired and rather clouded; these people might not be able to see how their patterns of behavior and their thoughts can be contributing to their addiction (Swadi, 2000).
When generally questioned and inquired about the use of drugs and other substances, these people generally do not have any valid or concrete explanations as to why these people use drugs. With reference to different researches and observations that have been conducted, it has been noted that family problems, attention seeking behaviors and economic distress are amongst the top variables with reference to which young individuals attempt to take drugs and lessen their grievances or stress that they may be experiencing (Burke, O'Sullivan & Vaughan, 2005).
Coming back to the discussion, an intervention implies a meeting. Here, a moderator has also been included, which would keep track of the addict and his unneeded reactions that may sprout during the session of the meeting (BCSSE ...
