Introduction

Reconstruction of the tectonic evolution of the lithosphere conditions in the West New Zealand is one of the most complex and urgent problems of modern geology. According to evolutionary ideas, in this period of tectonic activity had a specific character, which is unparalleled in modern geodynamics. The emergence of new geological, geophysical, petrochemical and radioisotope data allowed questioning this position. In particular, for the geodynamic reconstructions have been actively used the mechanisms of plate tectonics and of the formation of mantle plumes (Stevenson, 2002).

Purpose and Aim

To explore the structural and middle Crust, kinematical evolution of west New Zealand.

Identify the real structural various tectonic zones and evaluation of the conditions of their formation.

detailed mapping of key areas using the methods of interpretation of remote materials

Analysis of the nature of tectonic and magnetic location of volcanic-sedimentary complexes and reconstruction of the conditions of their formation.

Thesis Statement

There are at least two alternative concepts on the geodynamics of the West New Zealand region. Opposed in this case, the laws of manifestation of plate tectonics and interpolate processes may have related geodynamic causes. However, the forms of their manifestation differ in structural and material mechanisms of formation and evolution of continental crust, which is a transcript of their actual problems of modern Geo tectonics.

Background

This paper reflects the authors' results of structural and kinematics studies for large areas of the West New Zealand. Geodynamic models generalize this area are constructed using data from other investigators, but almost all the kinematics information in these reconstructions is original. A significant contribution is also the author of a detailed characterization of structural and material Para geneses Lithuanian Kola region and to identify the structural assemblies of shear zones and dislocations fold-thrust systems. The general principle of drilling any well is to destroy the rock at the face, followed by removal of shattered rock ...
