Clive Barker was born on 5 October 1952. He is an English author, film controller and visual creative individual best renowned for his work in both fantasy and horror fiction. Barker came to prominence in the mid-1980s with a sequence of short stories which established him as a premier juvenile horror writer. He has since written numerous books and other works, and his fiction has been acclimatized into shift images, especially the Hellraiser series.
