Double jeopardy is termed as a legal and a continuous principle that exist in numerous nations explaining the relationship between defendant and the attempts on the basis of which he may be tried for the same nature of crime. This is termed as one of the famous and old rule that is related to English rules of law and regulations of 12th century. Article no 4 on Human Rights states that a person can not be punished twice for the same crime. This is one of an important matter that should be treated accordingly in order to protect people from being punished or convicted twice without any particular reason. Double jeopardy is a serious matter and this is the main reason why most of the people are moving freely without any danger or fear of being arrested. This law is freely giving a chance to all the evil doers to attempt as many crimes as they want because as per this rule, they will not be punished twice.
