The following paper discusses this topic in detail that what is meant by domestic violence, what are the major reasons for it, and what are the critical issues that are emerging due to the domestic violence. In addition to that, the paper critically review the literature as researched in past studies that includes violence and its emergence (theoretical perspective), United Kingdom and the domestic violence (qualitative and quantitative researches), and emergence of domestic violence across the globe (quantitative studies).

Findings & Conclusion: The review of literature has helped us to conclude that there is a requirement to make women learn about their rights and responsibilities towards themselves and towards the next generation that could be the victim of violence. However, if appropriate measures are taken by them, then the next generation of women may not get affected at such a high rate of violent activities. In addition to that, it is recommended that further research is needed in this context in order to evaluate other measures that can be taken in this regard and to gather information that how a woman can be trained about her rights and responsibilities towards her and other women around her.
