Pixel colors in the likeness are implicitly joined to characteristics -- for example phosphor chromaticity, gamma, and white issue -- of the apparatus on which it was created. Color management can explain this difficulty, even though the color characteristics of the brandish scheme are not, and will not be, renowned at the time internet sheet is created. A method is offered to embed in the GIF likeness an International Color Consortium apparatus color profile recounting the source device.
