Authoritarianisms have a political system which is governed by a leader or a group of people under the principle of authoritarianism. Democracies are multiparty political systems that are based on the principle of rule by the people. Most people who live in democracies have civil liberties and political rights. Nations that have multiparty political systems to the needs of citizens through the best means of political equality? better living standards and civil liberties. Authoritarianisms often occur when a country is economically and politically unstable. In an authoritarian system of government decisions are made efficiently? because very few people are involved in the decision making process. The elite group leader or head of government to decide on further political and economic measures? and ensure that the public agrees with them? using tactics of force and indoctrination. (Altemeyer? 1994? 33-41) Authoritarian systems have helped the country recover from an economic crisis many times in the past. Extreme nationalism? born of propaganda and youth organizations sponsored by the Government encourages people to work harder for the benefit of their country.  Government does not always follow rule of law.

Government and people are  under the rule of law.

6) Maintaining Order  

Force or threat of force is used frequently to keep peace.

 Orderly demonstrations are legal and protests are guaranteed by law. Force is used only to restrain the disorderly.
