Are Girls Delinquent For Different Reasons Than Boys?

I think that girls are delinquent for different reasons than boys. It is well established that boys commit far more juvenile crime, particularly violent crime, than girls. Victimization data, self-report data, and official data all support this gender gap in juvenile offending.
