Statement of Purpose

It is very important that one should make goals in alignment to accomplish them. Without correct aim, one can easily fall off the track and become lost. It has always been a goal for me to have a PhD in Urban Development from the University of Portland. Iaccept as true, new technology skills, sophisticated studies and critical conceiving are very significant for advancement and achievement in today's quickly growing workforce. The world is changing drastically with ever increasing competition and that hints towards the well-established fact of the survival of the fittest. So to survive and make your life worth living, one needs to get as much knowledge as one can and that eventually will foster money making life easier for that individual.

Even in this ever-changing world, overwhelmed by the technological boom, no one can deny the importance of acquiring professional education from Portland University. In fact for me, it has become an obligation to get a PhD in Urban Development.

With the advant of need for research, the importance of a PhD degree can never be neglected. With the passage of time, urban development and the need to invest in real estate and transportation management have emerged as two of the most sought-after discipline among the students, researchers, who aspire themselves to gain a PhD degree.

I have earned a Bachelors degree in Architecture and Planning from Saudi Arabia's top University. Additionally, I have a degree in Engineering Management. The reason for opting Urban Development as a PhD subject, with an emphasis on Real Estate and Transportation Development is that the development of transportation and urban infrastructure have some interlinked concepts which will help me in my research.
