Debt is number-one problem for people in Wales

Purpose

DEBT is now the number-one difficulty for citizens in Wales, new figures from Wales' people Advice Bureaux showed in the past. It is the initial time in the CAB's 67-year history that mortgage debt troubles have turn out to be its clients' major concern.

Problem

Mounting energy debt and rocketing credit card, store card and charge card debts in Wales are also exposed in the 2007/08 people Advice Cymru report.(Gwynfor, 2009)
