Introduction

Well being of the health is the completely fine state of physical (biological), mental (psychological) and social aspects. It is not merely the absence of infections or light, strong or severe, as defined by the World Health Organization in its constitution of 1946. It can also be defined as the level of functional or metabolic efficiency of an organism at both the micro (cellular) and macro (social) level. Healthcare and wellness of an individual is his or her basic right. Everyone, no matter to which culture, class and race he or she belongs to deserves a proper system that provide healthcare benefits. In U.S, healthcare industry is huge. It is the industry that constitutes 15% of the overall economy of U.S and is considered as one of the largest and best healthcare industry all over the world. When any industry operates on such a huge level and involves more of the private entities rather than the government, it is likely to raise a number of issues. Whenever an individual suffers from any sort of illness he or she relies on healthcare service providers. Various components of the health care setting play their part in improving mental and physical well being of an individual. One of the components of healthcare service providers and healthcare facilities that is in vogue these days is the amenities that a healthcare service provider offers. The aim and objective of this essay is to take a position on whether the enmities are necessary or not? The paper makes an attempt to take a position on this point and presents arguments to support the position.



Statement

Presence of amenities is not a valuable part of the healthcare experience. There are other components that are more important and that contribute more to the overall healthcare experience of a patient.

Today's world where we live is filled with economic troubles and recession. Every new day this world faces a new challenge. In such era of recession, inflation and high cost of everything it becomes difficult for an individual to spend on healthcare. Our government also spends a mammoth amount on healthcare. Every day, new reforms are passed so that this department of healthcare can be made effective for the people. In order to combat the high cost of the healthcare government presents healthcare reforms. In this situation, what can lend a hand in combating this problem is getting education and information about the variegated issues of healthcare. For this purpose, healthcare fairs play a vital role. On one hand, healthcare educational institutes make attempts to raise awareness among public and citizens so that they can better take care of themselves which in turn would make them to spend less on healthcare. On the other hand, there are people who do not mind paying extra money for the amenities that the healthcare facility offers.
