CHAPTER 1: INTRODUCTION

The death punishment is a subject that has become very large-scale in the 21st century. Many centuries before the death punishment is something that was widely performed in nearly all cultures. This "revenge" sort of diplomacy was the only way some vintage civilizations sensed could actually discourage lawless persons from shattering the law. The joined States today is nearly left alone among western industrialized countries when it arrives to the death penalty. As one can see the death punishment only strengthens wrongful actions to today's society. Anyone who commits a misdeed should be penalized, but should not be adept to say what that punishment will be. Murder may not be the best answer to the problem. By description, this shows the death penalty is inhumane, introduces murder, and goes against biblical laws (Roger, 1989).

Purpose of Research

The purpose of the research is to find out view of the death penalty differs with religious beliefs.

Significance of Study

The death punishment, furthermore renowned as capital punishment, is the judicially ordered execution of a detainee for a serious crime, furthermore called a capital misdeed or capital offense. The period capital draws from from the Latin caput, which means “head.” A critical misdeed that was committed warrants the right for the detainee to be executed. Prisoners punished to death are often segregated in their own area of the jail, renowned as “death row.” numerous methods of execution have varied over time. Some of the procedures that were utilised are boiling to death, burial alive, trampling, drowning, and numerous others. The most common method is the electric chair (Bedau, 1998).

CHAPTER 2: LITERATURE REVIEW

The death punishment is a fiendish and barbaric practice that should be eliminated from today's society. With the numerous improvement that society has made, executing people for misdeeds the person may have or may not have pledged is still practiced. It violates so numerous religious beliefs. It is a fiendish and odd practice that should be finished away with. Society must advance and eradicate the death penalty, confidently never to come back. Our society is supposed to be one that values life. We should not be legally killing other human beings (William & Mary, 2000). An execution is a public spectacle of murder and actually endorses murdering as a solution to some of our many difficultys. Amurderer usually does not have time to believe of the consequences he might have to face, because killing, in most situations, a misdeed of passion. The death penalty should be abolished because it wastes the taxpayer's money, the 6th Commandment, and an innocent person could be put to death (Bedau, 1997).
