Daubert v. Merrell Dow Pharmaceuticals, is the case of the Unisted States court, whose case number is 509 U.S. 579. It held in 1993 which was taken in the Federal Rule of Evidence. This ruling is still in the state, and wants to continue till it is benefiting the society. The Daubert Court held that the enactment of the Federal Rules of Evidence implicitly overturned the Frye standard the Court articulated the standard known as the Daubert standard. The field of questioned documents made great strides in research and publications Daubert challenges to overcome in court. Of equal importance are the standards published by ASTM International. Without the list of the ASTM, no document can be examined, which came under the Daubert ruling. The ruling tries its best to abolish all those rules which were affecting the State. So, United States took a step of introducing the Daubert ruling rather then the Frye ruling. As Frye rules had a lot of issues so, it could not be run in the State. (Fish, 2010).

The rule of evidence is said to be the rule of Daubert. It requires the authentic evidences before taking any decision against any guilty party. In accordance with this standard, party may raise a Daubert motion, which is a special case of motion in liming raised before or during the trial to exclude the presentation of unqualified and evidence to the jury (Ryals, 2010).
