In today's interdependent world, governments must become more transparent about their crime and justice problems. This paper analyzes the major crimes which occur mostly due to rapid urbanization, economic inequality, and gender discrimination, abuse of alcohol, and drugs and availability of guns. Global crimes include terrorism, cyber crime, homicide, drug crimes, trafficking in persons, smuggling of migrants, currency counterfeiting and corruption.
