Introduction

America has shown a very flexible diplomatic policy which changes according to the country they are addressing and the time frame during which the address is made. Russia who was America's arch enemy during the Cold War, is now on its way to becoming fast friends with America. The splitting of Russia concluded the end of the Cold War which was rapidly heating up as the time passed. Once the dramatic conclusion was reached, America and Russia both started peace negotiations with each other. In 1992 the Russians went to the American soil twice in order to promote the friendly relations. After that it was just adding more and more steps towards the friendly terms both nations seem to want from each other

In 1992 Yeltsin went to U.S for the first time after the cold war. On his return again, in the same year the Russians took part in the Washington Summit of 1992. Signaling the end of the hostilities both countries had with each other. From 1994-2002, America and Russia worked on joint ventures aimed towards conquering space. From that time onwards even till now, under the leadership of Barrack Obama, the friendly relations between these one-time rivals seem to be on the rise.
