Critical Discussion
I currently work as nurse executives in acute nursing unit, with a total of 16 years of nursing experience, including the intensive care unit, doctors and nursing homes. I have successfully completed training in clinical support environments (academic level 6), elderly care (level 6), the practice of leadership and influence (level 6), skills for critical evaluation and development of effective management of patients with asthma and COPD (level 6). The first evidence of concentrated development and summative nature of the evidence and how it is often perceived by other health professionals.
Second activity involves the process of questioning and critical debate.
Third activity exploring literature searches, the assessment of the evidence on five research articles using appropriate assessment tools and a critical summary of the evidence evaluation. The fourth and final test in the development and summative discuss a change in practice that reflects the basic principles of the implementation of best practices based on evidence. After asking five different health care professional, I noticed that four of five professionals believe that the practice based on evidence based on research. I felt there was no similarity in their view, the meaning of evidence-based practice (Youngblut 2001, pp. 468). But one of the professionals have also examined patients who receive the most appropriate nursing care based on evidence, however, there is still need for improvement based on the principle of effective management.
