The SPLG is the company that was made to manage and market the dodge ball event in the university. The job of the company was to effectively manage the event by planning and marketing the dodge ball game from beginning to end. Indoor football, indoor soccer or futsal is a team sport derived from soccer with rules adapted from soccer. The rules of the game of futsal were created by Juan Carlos Ceriani, director of training young people's Christian Association (YMCA) located in South American Montevideo (Uruguay). The event that was organized in the university was a Futsal event in which a number of teams participated. The purpose was to understand the problems that are associated with the organizing sport events. The event was well planned, but did face a number of problems since inception. Keeping in mind that the original plan was to have a Dodge ball event, the whole planning had to be changed when sponsors could not be located.

CHAPTER 01: INTRODUCTION
The SPLG is the company that was made to manage and market the dodge ball event in the university. The job of the company was to effectively manage the event by planning and marketing the dodge ball game from beginning to end.
Overview of the study
The study was conducted to have a better understanding of the issues that can be faced during sport events management. The study not only organised an event, but also conducted a small survey to elicit the opinion and perception of participants that could complement the study.
