Police chief

The police chief is the head of a police agency or an association. Depending on the country's requirement and political condition the role and duties of Chief Police may vary. Chief of Police are responsible for all operations, top officials in their jurisdictions, and are the highest representative of their police headquarters. They are usually also the official superior of their subordinate employees. (Schmolka, 2009)

In addition to the police activities such as stock rising, analysis and coordination of services which primarily include administrative activities such as organization, scheduling, human resources (including assessment in service of subordinate officers and employees) and budget management in his remit. Usually police chief will have the opportunity to regulate standards of superiors in their own responsibility. (Garland, 2010)

The Department of Corrections

The Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation in California (California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation, CDCR) is an agency of the State of California in the United States. The department manages prisons for men, women, boys and girls. Headquarter of Correction is in Sacramento. The Staff at Dept. of Corrections has an obligation to keep inmates safely, without harm or abuse from other staff or other inmates. Transgender prisoners are recognized by the Department of Corrections as potential objects of attack and abuse. The concerned officers at Dept o Corrections should keep a control and check of all the activities. The staff must respect the detainees without harassing or discriminating the prisoners. The correction department staff should refer to prisoners only by his last name and should be careful while calling a prisoner.
