Crash Analysis: F-15c Longeron Failure

Introduction

On 2nd November 2007, in the F-15 C Eagle, an upper right Longeron failure was seen which was due to crucial support structure that caused a crash of Missouri Air National Guard F-15 C, at a distance of around four miles southeast south of Boss. This incident lead USAF to ground its F-15's in order to get their maintenance done and avoid such happenings.
