Introduction

On the other hand, Medical examiner is an officer who holds medical qualification and his or her duty is to investigate and inspect bodily injuries and deaths that might have occurred due to suspicious or unusual circumstances or to perform post-mortems. The duties of both coroner and a medical examiner is similar but the important thing is this that a coroner is not having any qualification but a medical examiner holds a medical degree along with professional trainings and certification in forensic pathology.
