Product

Marziberry Swirl is the upcoming product of the company which will be made up of a white chocolate outside, and filled with a light marzipan and biscuit mix. This will all be topped off by a core made up of pure red strawberry jelly. The bar will be roughly the size of Snickers or a Mars bar and the wrapper will be an egg-white color with as colorful red as possible (www.cadbury.com, 2011).

Pricing

The price of the Product will be 45 Pence. This is slightly higher than a normal bar (in Germany at least) but it will be repaid with a slightly larger amount of chocolate than a normal bar. A price of 45 Pence is fair for the start of the product, in order to allow it an easy entrance into the market and hopefully encourage more people to buy it and continue buying it (www.cadburydairymilk.typepad.com, 2011).

Place

The product will be sold everywhere possible. Purchasing directly from Cadbury will be made available to stores or companies that wish to buy the new product but did not get involved with the initial launch of the bar (Glaetzer, 2009).

Promotion

Cadbury will launch an advertising campaign shortly before the release of the product. It will encompass most media available for advertising in order to spread the news to as many people as possible and make the arrival of the bar as anticipated as possible. A day or two before the release Cadbury will host a line of press interviews and support as many events as possible, offering free trials of the product, but making sure to keep them small enough to only make people want more, and anticipate the arrival even more. Both above the line and below the line promotion will be used in order to fully exploit advertisement and make sure everyone knows of the chocolate bars arrival with attention and curiosities (www.investsmart.com, 2011).
