The United States history (1865-1918) encompasses Reconstruction, the Gilded Age and Progressive Era, covering the growth of industries and the subsequent rise of immigration in the United States. This era is known as the era of fast growth of the economy and rising prosperity not in the south but in the north and west. United States strength in this period covered terms such as economy, agriculture and industrialization. Even the average income of every citizen rose substantially during this era.
