Compare who you are now to who you were five years ago

Considering myself how I was five years back, I can clearly state that I have learned a lot and improved my knowledge and perception about the world. Five years back, I was not able to speak any English. Now I can talk in English, and can talk to English speakers in a way they understand me. Now I know what friends are, and how good life can be, with a better perspective and an outlook on the world. Some of the things that have not changed are that I still live with my parents, and brother and I love them a lot. My passion for engineering still exists, even though I am much more into my studies as I am an engineering major now. The love to music in me still really strong but I am an engineer major student now. I wanted to be a musician when I was younger, but because of my situation and moving and focusing of studies, I could not focus on it.
