COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS



Abstract

HP and Apple are operating in two different countries but they have more or less the same business environment. The political, economic, social, and technological scenario is pretty much same, because these two companies are running their operations from UK and USA respectively. These two companies are facing some problems from their environment, which could be potentially dangerous for these companies but they can deal with these problems through proper planning.

Introduction

A number of companies that are operating in different countries usually have to face very similar situation, while, running their business. There can be number of reasons behind this fact. For my assignment I have chosen HP and Apple, these companies have their operations in their two different countries i.e. HP runs its operations from UK, while Apple runs its operations from USA.

Political analysis

Private ownership is the superior market scheme in UK. Moreover, both dwelling and personal businesses are conceded with the administration for decentralized decision-making. The free scheme on the UK business part is made apparent by the allowance of the output and yield of personal businesses. (Packard, Kirby, & Lewis 2006)

Economic analysis

Economic trends, for example, inflation and regression factors, might deter the purchasing power of consumers in UK and the overall economy of UK. These factors strongly influence the IT Industry in UK. Moreover, the global market is considered to be beneficial market for the creative and innovative companies as there might be some cheap technology provided by foreign markets. (Feitzinger 2007)

Socio-cultural analysis

The well known about the internet indicated the opportunities of relevant products and services. Hewlett-Packard is an innovation-based company, which has brought a huge change in the lifestyle of people. It has also contributed in bringing a change in management of business.
