Introduction

Community Nursing is a field specializing in care of Family and Community Health, produced by the Research Group INVESCOM Community Nursing Foundation Index. Semi-onset and internationally, allows professionals to be constantly updated on developments that occur in different areas of knowledge in the field of community nursing (Lundy, Saucier & Janes). Community Nursing includes a number of sections that contained innovations in various fields of community nursing: original, reviews, editorials, letters to the editor, research methodology, instrument care, etc., constituting u n media content that meets their advanced research both from the clinical point of view as a manager and teacher, the community nurses and professionals involved in primary health care. Community Nursing is a project open, participatory, collaborator, able to embrace any innovation that creates a breakthrough in scientific research on health care and community health nursing (Stanhope & Lancaster). Discussion

Community Nursing is the part of nursing that develops and implements a comprehensive manner as part of the public health, care for the individual, family and community in the health-disease continuum. The community nurse specifically to help individuals, families and communities to acquire skills, habits and behaviors that promote their self-care in the context of primary health care (PHC), which includes promotion, protection, recovery and rehabilitation of health, in addition to prevention of disease. The term of community health nursing was established recently and is considered a scholarly discipline of service whose purpose is to contribute individually and collectively to promote optimal functional level of the user or customer by teaching and caregiving.
