Community Counseling: Personal Statement

I am currently attending Argosy University's Master of Arts (M.A.) in Forensic Psychology since fall of 2009, a total of 12 credits and a GPA of 3.75. This particular field of psychology examines the aspects of human behavior that is directly related to our legal system that entails both civil and criminal laws. Before entering my Junior College, I expressed my future plans and interests in Behavioral Sciences program to my parents. They finally approved me switching my course to Behavioral Sciences. But low grades from my freshman and sophomore already affected my overall GPA. In order to graduate along with my classmates the same time, I took extra load more than our required credits per semester to catch with them. I took 21 to 24 credits per semester. I may have over loaded with school, but I was able maintain to do well in most of my Behavioral Science classes.
