Introduction

Communication is the act of communicating, establishing a relationship with others, to convey something to someone, all the resources and techniques for the dissemination of a message to an audience more or less extensive and heterogeneous and action for someone, a company to inform and promote its activities to the public, to maintain its image, by any process media. Communication is the process of transmitting information. This term comes from Latin "communicare" which means "pool". Communication can be seen as a process for sharing information and knowledge. This paper will analyzing the different components to be an effective communication in business and address the fact that whether communication is an art or science.

Communication Process

Communication is a process of sending and receiving messages with some meaning attached to it. The main elements of a communication process include sender as a source, communication medium and a receiver. (Roy, 2010, 9-12) The medium of communication is a way through which messages are communicated from one person to another. It is important to understand that when two people communicate with each other, two things are to be considered. Firstly, the communication needs to be accurate. Secondly, when an effective communication occurs, it means that the receiver has successfully perceived the message in the right way. These two issues have led to two different incidents in the workplace in which the outcome was both negative and positive. (Patrick, 2008, 222-256)

The elements or factors of communication are human: source, sender or encoder, code (rules of the sign, symbol), primary message (under a code), receiver or decoder, channel noise (barriers or interference) and feedback or feedback (feed-back, return message or post secondary).

This is the place from where the information, data, content is sent, in short, from which flows the primary message.

Sender or encoder

The point (person, organization) that chooses and selects the appropriate signs to convey your message, i.e. the encoding to send so-always understood to be handled the same code between transmitter and receiver- receptor. There is an initiator in the communication process, at most there is a primary instance verbally emission which coincides with the one who "spoke first" - but the communication should be understood as a dynamic and circular, without beginning or end. We can start asking the communicative act when someone, but inevitably the communication began much earlier, to see the person, cautiously approaching the minimum distance of two strangers, looking at the person in the eye or imply that we want to talk. As you can see, communication is not limited to speech or writing: it is a complex process of mutual interaction endless.
