Definition

Collaborative learning is a carefully designed system of interactions that organizes and leads the interaction between team members (Johnson and Johnson, 2008). It develops through a gradual process in which each member feel mutually committed to the learning of others generating positive interdependence. Collaborative Learning is acquired through the use of group work methods that characterized by the interaction and contribution of everyone in the construction of knowledge. Collaborative learning in group work aims to share authority, responsibility and accept the terms of another, to build consensus with others.
