Mass. Gen. Laws chapter. 265 section 37 explains that an individual has no right to threaten, oppress or injure any other individual. Marcy, a young girl, who was upset with her parent's behavior and thinks that she never had got good treatment by her parents and finally decided to leave her home. The girl met Norman Wits in Northampton, who was the founder of a religious sect. The men had influenced Marcy by giving importance to her views and in spite of making Marcy to understand the severity of her decision, he asked her to join him as a Church leader, for which the only condition was to change her name from Marcy to Freda. The man took Marcy with her to Asylum, where the young girl became a great help to every one. After, almost one year the girl asked her masters to allow her to go back, but in order to ensure discipline and no escape, they started to feed her with drugged food. She made attempts to run away from that place but was punished for such attempts. In the end she finally succeeded in her attempt and came back to her home land Quincy, where she tried to explain the whole suspicious scenario to her parents and police, but no one seemed to believe her. She supposed that her relatives had been told a different story by Asylum members, as she witnessed a number of such members near her, who threaten her through different ways, concluding to its contribution to the sad memories of Marcy.
Brief Answer
Marcy had lost the entire security of her life as well as her self-confidence. The court should take strict actions against such leaders and masters, who are abusing children for their selfish means, as this comes under violation of constitutional rights in Massachusetts.
If any individual is found guilty against breaking this law, shall be penalized not more than $ 1000 or caught not more than one year or both, but if violation leads to body injuries, then the accused shall be penalized not more than S10,000 or caught not more than ten years, or both.
