Bid of a Cinema as a cultural medium

Introduction

I would like to begin my report with the most important cases of the influence of cinema on the cultural aspects. The most prominent case is the camera in our mobile phones. It was basically germinated as a component of the technology of 3-D graphics for applications like computerized designing, movie-making through the computer, etc. Then during the decades of 1980's-90's, the mobile camera had become a universally recognised method for communicating any sort of data that was could be represented in three attributes. In the language of a computer, it could mean anything and everything. This report will revolve around the comment of Luca Somigli that cinema has been able to make its bid as a serious cultural medium by emphasizing its association with already canonized cultural formations. Cinema, over the period, has become a part of the culture of human beings. There numerous reasons through which we can conclude that the cinema has made a serious bid to become a cultural medium. In the course of this report, we will see analyze the reasons through which the cinema has become a part of the culture.

The cinema was showing the actual picture of the society, and over the centuries, the cinema has always reflected the cultural aspects of the society.

It is a fact that the cinema has provided un-erasable figures of some of the biggest events of 20th century. The awareness of people regarding the Holocaust is because of the images that were captured from the liberation camps in the Nazi camps. Our knowledge regarding the destruction that was caused by the atom bomb is because of the cinema.

Although, narrative entertainment is available through the Internet and other technological forms, the high growth rate of the number of cinema seats around the world suggests that cinema has been able to make its bid as a serious cultural medium by emphasizing its association with already canonized cultural formations.

Cinema has touched all aspects of the culture with social, economic, political, artistic, philosophical, and technological implications. It is the site of the merging of masculine and feminine ...
