I believe in the point that child psychology is a study of infancy and adolescence which is focusing on children from infancy till the time of adolescence. Psychology covers a wide range of topics; these are abnormal psychology, social psychology and developmental psychology.

The First Year of Life

My experience has made me learn that in the first year of life Infants and toddlers (Birth to age 1) and (1-2 years) rapidly grows; in this period Bodily changes are very fast and deep. Child also goes through with Physical development and biological changes.

The Formation of Attachments

In my point of view, the formation of attachments is the strong emotional sense of security bond that develops between child and caregiver of the child. In the second half of the year, starting with the first known infants become attached to people who gave them physical care and support to respond.

Bowlby and Attachment

Bowlby (1969) was the first who used this concept for bonds with parental authority over the child. It also increases the chances that a child will prevent from danger thing. In addition to this, mother feed the baby, but Bowlby said carefully that feeding and giving food is also not the main reason for attachment of a child.

Consequences of Breakdowns in Attachments

I am of the view that attachment is very necessary for an infant with his mother, if the attachment of an infant with the parents will damage or distorted during the first critical two years, it will cause suffer from irreversible long-term consequences of maternal deprivation

The Home, Family and School

In my experience, I have learned that it is very important that an infant must receive attention and love from his father, mother and other family members. It creates a great long term effect on a child when his father is not with him and absent. There is a great role of his peers and siblings in his life, and they can make good effects in his personality.

Basic Principles of Research Methods

In my point of view what I have learned that the basic principles that research include a systematic process of identifying a question or problem, a plan of action to answer the question or resolve the problem and rigorously collecting and analyzing data.

The Development of Visual Perception

I believe in this point that visual perception development from birth through adulthood life time changes with cause. Development of Visual perception usually occurs in new born babies or infants and then reduces in old age. Visual perception in infants develops and grows when they are young. They can see the changes in brightness of colours in the world. Earlier believes that they could see things in black and white only.

The Development of language and Communication

I also learned that the language development process begins early in life, once you start to learn a language to speak and mimicry. Child language development moves from simple to convoluted language. Four months of age, children would be able to read others lips, and ...
