Caregiver burnout and its affect to elderly people depression
Abstract
In this study, there has been an attempt to explore the issues related to Caregiver burn out and its affect on elderly people depression. The issues related to elderly people depression carries immense importance in medical science field. The main focus of the research was to study various features regarding Caregiver burn out and to determine the reasoning. The research also analyzed several aspects of elderly people and the condition that lead them towards depression. Finally, the research described the relationship between Caregiver and elderly people. The core study was the action that leads to Caregiver burn out, and, the effect it produces on elderly people depression. In the end, solutions were proposed to resolve this issue on the long-term basis. Therefore, all these issues have been discussed in detail, in this topic.

Historical Background
Caregiver burnout is a condition that leads to physical, emotional, and mental fatigue which causes a change in attitude. The attitude ranges from positive to negative caring also leads people to remain unconcerned about their atmosphere. Burnout normally occurs when caregivers are unable to provide the assistance that is needed, or if they try to do more than their ability. Some of them even feel guilty if they spend time looking after themselves rather than ill or elderly people. This is the reason why Caregivers experience the feelings of anxiety, depression, stress and fatigue (Piercy, 2001). If burnout causes a depression, the caregiver might indulge themselves to negative behaviors such as sex, drinking, drugs, or compulsive behaviors.
