Summary of the Career Stages

I am currently working as a Bilingual Literacy Specialist at Garland ISD/Routh Roach Elementary/Garland, TX. My responsibilities at the current job include facilitating and monitoring interventions to help students become successful, providing remedial in Spanish- Math, Science, and Social Studies instruction. I also did an internship in the year 2009 at Urban Park Elementary/DISD where I was given the responsibility for School Administration and Supervision, Curriculum and Instructional Supervision, Pupil Services, Clerical Work, School/ Community Relations, and Professional Development and Involvement. I started of my career in the year 2003 at C.E.P.I./Aguadilla, PR as a 3rd Grade Self-Contained and then got promoted to 4th Grade Self-Contained in the year 2004. In 2005 I moved to RAMEY JOB CORPS as a Student Counselor/Substitute English Teacher where I had worked for a year. In the year 2006, I was hired as a Secondary English Professor at Colegio de la Vega/Vega Alta, PR but moved from that job the same year and got appointed as a 4th Grade ESL Language Arts/Social Studies Teacher at HERBERT MARCUS ES./Dallas, TX. After spending a year there I then shifted from this job to 4th Grade Bilingual Teacher at URBAN PARK ELEMENTARY SCHOOL in the year 2007 and stayed there till the year 2010. This shows that all the experience that I have is related to teaching field. Apart from these experiences that I have in the teaching field I was also associated with El Prado Bakery, from the year 1995-2000, which is my family owned business and along with this association, I have also previously been associated with the National Business Association (NBA).
