Capital Punishment

Introduction

The capital punishment is controversial societal subject in the United States since the law has been put into forced. The Federal Death Penalty Act of 1994 has got many people around the world that is against the capital punishment. Most of the countries in the world including some states of the United States have discontinued the execution of criminals based on the violation of human rights. It has been found by the Gallup poll in 2011 that about 61 percent of American people supported execution of capital punishment in cases of murder while 35 percent of people have went against it.
