The above table represent the responses of the participants regarding the statement “How many patients on your unit require skilled assessment by an RN more than once every hour?” From the total of 50 participants, 24 percent of the respondents said a few (< 20percent). 48 percent of the participants said some (31-40 percent). 22 percent of the participants said about half (41-60 percent). 2 percent of the participants said many (61-80 percent). 4 percent of the participants said most (more than 80 percent). Therefore, maximum number of respondents said that the some (21-40 percent) of the patients on their unit require skilled assessment by an RN more than once every hour.

The above table represent the responses of the participants regarding the statement “How many patients on your unit require the use of technical equipment?” From the total of 50 participants, 20 percent of the respondents said a few (< 20percent). 52 percent of the participants said some (31-40 percent). 18 percent of the participants said about half (41-60 percent). 8 percent of the participants said many (61-80 percent). 2 percent of the participants said most (more than 80 percent). Therefore, maximum number of respondents said that the some (21-40 percent) of the patients on their unit require the use of technical equipment.

Therefore, maximum number of respondents said that the some (21-40 percent) of the patients on their unit have complex problems that are not well understood.
