Mission statement: We aim to act as a one-stop-shop to our clients to as an agent, supplier, planner and/or event manager for any related feature to do with children's events or children at events. We hope grow into one of the leading event management companies in London and raise shares for our partners and shareholders.
There will be two full time employees working for the business, these will be the Partners. There will be one member of staff working part time/casual basis this will be the receptionist. The partners will keep the books on a weekly basis. However, a freelance accountant will be contracted in for a maximum of 1 day month to balance the books and ensure all finances are running to order. The accountant will also take care of Abracadabra's tax returns and pay role as well as other issues to do with the businesses accounts and any red tape issues that require a certain amount of expertises in that field.
Due to the nature of the business Abracadabra will sub contact staff as and when they are needed for certain jobs e.g. crew required to set up of an event, entertainers, hostesses, clearers and other event staff. In most cases these staff will be sourced through an agency.

Staffing levels throughout the year may increase or decrease dependent on seasonal factors such as Christmas, August holiday period and other festivals.

The Product
Our product is the service that is provided to clients. The service involves us acting as an agent, suppler and/or planner for any related feature to do with children's events or children at events. We believe there is a niche market for this service and that corporate, commercial and the general public would use this product. Research conducted by Mintel gives evidence of this as shown in the marketing section of this business plan on page 6. Our customers will either use our service along side others to add to their event, or they will use the service solely to produce the event for them. We aim to be able to offer our clients a one stop shop if they so require.
Unique Selling Points
What makes our product unique is that we not only cater of the obvious needs and requirements of our clients but consider further how we can serve this market and offer them something extra. We do so by offering services such as baby changing facilities, breast feeding zones, milk warming facilities, a buggy park, lost and found child point, crèche facility at festivals and other events. This is unique as we focus on the needs of parents and children at events and look at the ways in which both the child and parent experience can be enhanced whilst at an event.
