Organizational culture is the set of values, beliefs and important understandings that members of an organization have in common. Culture provides definite forms of thought, feeling and reaction that guide decision-making and other activities of the participants in the organization (Fort and Timothy 2001, Pp. 126). The structure of Lantex is based on the hierarchy in which the CEO is at the top of the hierarchy, and the rest of the senior management is responsible and liable to report to the CEO regarding the organizational affairs. At Lantex, the organizational culture and structure are formed in such a way that leads to the effective performance of the entire organization because each one is attached with another individual due to the strong cultural values of the organization.

Definitions of organizational culture share common concepts. They stress the importance of shared values and beliefs and their effect on behaviour (Kotter et al. 2002, Pp. 122-134). Culture is the social or normative glue that holds an organization. Expresses the values or social ideals and beliefs that members of the organization come to share, expressed in symbolic elements such as myths, rituals, stories, legends and a specialized language.
Organizational culture includes guidelines that shape the enduring behaviour. Fulfils several important functions to:
A. Conveys a sense of identity to members of the organization
B. Facilitate commitment to something greater than myself
C. Strengthen social system stability
D. Offer premises recognized and accepted for decision making
As showed in the above chart, there are four major departments that are operating in Lantex. The major department is operations department that is denoted by Ops. The responsibility of this department is same as the production department and all the manufacturing and production operations are done in this department. All the departments at Lantex are interrelated and work in coordination. All the departmental heads report to the CEO and under the departmental heads there are team leader in each department. These teams leaders report to the departmental heads. The rest of the operational staff works under the team leaders, and they report to the team leaders.
As far as the span of control is concerned, there are more than 20 staff members under each team leader. This means that the span of control is not wide in Lantex.

As far as the difference between the organizational structures is concerned, GWAZ Group limited is being headed by the BODs. This means that all the senior managers are under the reporting of BODs, and they report all the organizational affairs to the BODs. Furthermore, these senior managers are managing the departmental heads, and the rest of the structure is same as Lantex.
