Every company requires a security system to prevent the business operations from any threats. A security provider is any of the following—

A bodyguard.

A crowd controller.

A private investigator.

A security adviser.

A security equipment installer.

A security officer.

A security firm.

That can help the company to conduct the business at the right time and at the right cost. It may consist of all the services which participate in the distribution of goods and which serve as a link between the manufacturer and the consumer.

For the purpose of this pre-feasibility, we have confined ourselves to the businesses which are our potential customers for security services. In USA security providers work on different scale and levels, depending upon their operational capacity and the industry they are serving to. Most of the setups and businesses divide their markets into North and South regions and generally appoint more than two security companies for the distribution of their products. The North Region includes Connecticut, Delaware, the District of Columbia, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, Virginia, West Virginia, Wisconsin and portions of Iowa (Rock Island Arsenal area), Missouri and Tennessee whereas, The South Region includes Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee (excluding the Ft. Campbell area) and Texas (excluding the El Paso area).

Different security providers are then appointed in different sales territories by the manufacturing company who evaluates the service provider for each territory using a pre-defined list of criteria.

Marketing Plan

We have decided to follow a very simple and tactful marketing strategy of Cost leadership. We have managed to get our service available at the lowest possible cost, without hindering the service quality. Our advantage is our USP, a high quality security service with customer responsive system.

Marketing Mix

Service

As defined already, we are offering security services for our business customers. The need for the security service is to provide assurance of the safety and security needs of a business including consultancy to educate our customers about the different types of security providing services.

Price

The fee of our services is based on the survey of current market price which is being offered by the other security providing companies. However, to attract more customers we can reduce our fee, as we are focusing on market penetration strategy.

Place

We'll make regional offices in different territories of north and south regions of America and a head office in the southern region.

Promotion

We will only be advertising our service through different advertising media. We are keen on attracting our customers' attention through various promotional methods. We will not be using any type of print or media advertisement for the first year.
