Introduction

Today there are many theories about the best business management practices to run companies, but sometimes company loses its way in wanting to implement a rigid line based specifically in achieving the competitive edge. The application of best practices in gaining the competitive edge is the successful combination of the business management practices and that can be exemplified as a recipe ingredient where the base should be the knowledge of the key business practices.

Thus questions arise in the process: Where is the knowledge? Who has the knowledge? How to retain the knowledge? And how to spread the knowledge? Now the reader may wonder what knowledge is, the answer is: Knowledge of basic business processes to gain the competitive edge, knowledge of business computer systems, the technical knowledge to solve operational problems, in short, the knowledge of the company and the business management practices (Roth, 2007, pp. 91).

Problem Statement

The main problem with the business management practices is the implementation of the practices in accordance with technology. The advent of the latest technology should be incorporated in the organization system so that employees can have better understanding and knowledge of the modern techniques. The main concern revolving around the business management sector is the implementation of modern management practices like Kaizen and Kanban. The issue is that the organizations have not the proper knowledge of these modern techniques that help them to gain the competitive advantage.

Background of the Study

Knowledge considered as the integral part before implementing and modern management practice. therefore, one must know the company, its processes, products, services, competitors, products and services from their competitors, the economic and commercial enterprise in which company work and closest competitors, but management also enrich the employees with the knowledge to provide them with professional and personal growth for example, read newspapers, books of interest, technical, financial, broadly read, and even interested to learn of management.

Management is for all, when the employees allow their mind to venture into management issues, helps them to open their horizons and do better in their work environment helps them to understand the decisions of the heads, mistakes, successes, helps us to communicate with appropriate tools, which let their voice be heard, also allows them to cook a recipe management that improves as individuals and open professional and employment opportunities.

Significance of the study
