Description of the Issue

In case of EKIN it is high time to recognize the need to implement the same measures in their subsidiary ACTIVE as they did to their own company. Sports brands are always criticized of having their suppliers and manufacturers in South East Asian countries where labor and material both are cost effective and cheap. However, EKIN should realize that although they are heavily profiting from this strategy, they should not forget to provide these people working in these facilities to be given the at least the same rights as a person in a western country would have been provided. If the same manufacturing plan would have been in a western country, EKIN would not only be paying high labor costs but would have also abided by the strict laws and rights that the people working in these facilities have. Hence it is high time for EKIN to realize that people working for their sports brand should be given the same rights and justice if not the same pay that they would have been paying in a western country like UK or US.

Ethical Theory Violated

EKIN should look to follow the Ethical theory of rights and justice. In the rights ethical concept the rights set forth by a community are secured and given the most important. Rights are regarded to be legally appropriate and legitimate since a huge or judgment inhabitant gives them. People may also provide rights upon others if they have the capability and options to do so (1). For example, a individual may say that her companion may lend the car for manufactured. The companion who was given the capability to gain access to the car now has a right to the car in manufactured (Garrett, 2005).

According to this theory, what creates mankind different from simple factors is that people have pride according to their capability to select easily what they will do with their life, and they have a essential significant right to have these alternatives well known. Folks are not factors to be manipulated; it is a abuse of individual pride to use people in methods they do not easily select (Quest for values, 2009).

What Can Be Done

Of course, many different, but relevant, privileges are available besides this primary one. These other privileges (an imperfect record below) can be believed of as different factors of the primary right to be handled as we select (Velasquez, et al., 1999).
