Ethics in Business From the business perspective, working under government contracts can be the very lucrative. In general, the stream of orders keep coming, rising incomes and growing company as the whole. Falls obvious to work this way are most desired quality, as well as research and documentation required for government contracts. If the part is not working properly can cause minor technical problems and problems that can lead to serious consequences, as in case of National Semiconductor. For example, electrical engineer who designed faulty chip could act in good faith will be tested to ensure they did indeed meet tests required by government to resist.

As explained above, is ideal for the company to carry out its own research and their own sorrows. After all, it would be better for the company to determine what specific departments are responsible rather than having the court imposes the burden on all employees of your corporation. However, since there are ethical issues of dishonesty and secrecy involved, National Semiconductor should have conducted the thorough analysis of your employees and their own practices. It is through efforts like these that the company can raise ethical standards of all members of your organization. This case brings to light whole issue of corporate responsibility. two sides that must ultimately be balanced are company's own interests, with main objective of maximum profit, and impacts that the corporation can cause on society (Sawyer, 78).
