1. Travel Agent

Agents are business people who sell travel services. They may be owners or employees of a relatively small business. Agents have the advantage of enjoying low-cost travel around the world, since they are paid of wholly or largely local air carriers or foreign, state tourist offices, hotels, tours operators and owners of tourist complexes (igbusinesss.blogspot.com).

Hence, for this purpose the business which we have chosen to start is Travel agent a proprietorship business. The name of this business is “Matrix Red Travels”. Matrix Red Travels came into existence on 1st January, 2012 by the __Three__ owners namely: ______, ______, ______ etc in order to run the business more effectively and efficiently with new ideas and innovative products and services. The Head Office Matrix Red Travels is located in main city of London near Birmingham palace. Matrix Red Travels accounting periods end on June 30th 2013.

The main features and function of Matrix Red Travels are as followed:

Advice on the traveller's destination (Inform travellers of the features of the destinations, services, suppliers and existing travel, Assist in selecting the most appropriate for you specifically)

Hiring of means of transport, plane, train, bus etc.

Hiring of accommodation, hotels, hostels, and etc

Buy tickets to museums or shows.

Technical Function :

Planning the program that seeks to launch: people are encouraged to anger a site, because we have to investigate it is place to go, resource, transportation, etc.

Design of the trip: to know where we perform the contracts

Distribution: spaces are organized as they come is that I sell, not sell more than you are and vice versa

Control of the operations to keep track as it exits the trip to see if it goes well or not.

As competition in this industry is increasing for that we have taken the following methods:

Offer customers individual services offered in isolation or may be tickets to a particular means of transport, accommodation in hotels, lodging establishments in non-hotel, tickets to cultural and sporting events, car rental, room rental for banquets or conferences, policies of insurance for travel, selling guidebooks, etc.

We also offer package holidays offered by wholesalers or tour operators generally, in this case the mediating role can be summarized in a mere distribution function.

We offer subsidiary services such as change of currency, exchange and sale of checks of travel, changing or cancelling reservations and processing the documentation needed to travel as a passport or visa.

Another group of services corresponds to the representation of suppliers, destinations and other travel agencies, in this case, the company acts as a mere distributor, but buy the product and then sell it, so is taking the risk of operation (http://www.palst-jp.com).
