Introduction

Burqa is damaged all through Middle to the east countries and the Muslim countries round the world. Many liberal or popular authorities are not so firm about wearing the Burqa. One such well known example is Turkey, where secular concepts prevail and give people the freedom to choose if they want to wear a Burqa. Meanwhile, in stricter countries, women are notified to wear the Burqa and failure to do so can outcome in beatings, harassment or other worse punishments. Obviously a woman wears a Burqa but more expressly, conservative performing Muslims wear it. Girls are not presumed to wear a burqa until she strikes puberty but this notion is not practiced as girl as juvenile as six are made to wear the Burqa to get them utilized to wearing it. There have furthermore been instances where men were clothed in the Burqa to get away from the police or to conceal their identities from the authorities (Marsden, 1998: 21).

Discussion

The Islamic world is experiencing an increase in women wearing the Burqa claiming it to be part of the Islamic dress code. Whether it is damaged by choice or force is open to argument as very few women are able to, or favor not to voice an attitude on the matter. Those who have, generally argue against the compulsory (by law as in Afghanistan) wearing of this garment with a minority claiming the right to wear it citing Quranic and Prophetic instruction (Betsy Reed and Katha Pollitt, 78-122).

A Burqa is an outside garment damaged by women in Islamic societies for the reason of hiding their bodies and/or face. It is mostly damaged when a woman departs her home and is compelled to wear it until she returns.
