Bullying

   Introduction

Bullying is described as negative actions, physical or verbal that hurt others in some way or the other. Hurting a person by physically hitting him or his property is called physical bullying. People who engage in physical bullying are aggressive, and as they grow older, they become more and more violent. Using words to hurt a person is called verbal bullying. This includes calling names, insulting with rude comments and unfriendly teasing. This kind of bullying leaves invisible scars on the victim that may take a long time to heal or don't heal at all. The effects that bullying has on the victim are self destructive. It causes the victim to lose his self confidence and become weak and he no longer remains capable to defend himself in any situation. (Bush, 2011)

If a bully is not taught about dealing with his problems in a healthy manner rather then picking on someone vulnerable and easy to hurt, he will most likely remain aggressive and bully others as an adult too. This might lead him to commit crimes and get involved in illegal activities, leading him to trouble.
